Science memberships

Head of the Laboratory for Fluid Mechanics and Marine Technologies and the Laboratory for Energy Systems and Renewable Energy Sources. Research focus is on mathematical and numerical modeling and optimization of systems that include the interaction of models based on thermodynamics with chemical reactions, fluid mechanics and structural mechanics, with the application of new materials.

Scientific competencies: leading development and scientific teams, application of optimization algorithms with an emphasis on the application of evolutionary algorithms to multi-criteria optimization, artificial intelligence, computational fluid dynamics, structural simulations, mathematical modeling, numerical methods, software engineering, modeling and design of thermal energy systems and offshore facilities for oil and gas exploitation.
