We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Community of Practice (CoP) ‘Supporting mobility and procedures, including entry conditions, social security and taxation’, as part of the EURAXESS ERA-Talent programme!
One of the objectives of this CoP is to address the issues related to entry and residence conditions. Therefore, we are mapping the immigration related hurdles, as well as best practices international researchers face in individual countries. For most countries this is also related to the EU Directive 2016/801.
Share your knowledge
To gather these issues and best practices, we have set up a questionnaire. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share your expertise. Please complete this questionnaire before30 November 2024. It takes approximately ten minutes and is completely anonymous. The input obtained will be analysed, disseminated and shared with relevant stakeholders, especially with the European Commission, at the latest by the end of the ERA TALENT-project“.
*Are you not the one who knows all about these issues and best practices? Please forward this e-mail to a colleague who does!
You can find the questionnaire here.
Upcoming webinar on mobility issues
We will also discuss the preliminary survey outcomes during our first webinar on mobility and immigration issues. This will most probably take place in December/January, but we will get back to you soon with a definitive date. You can also look forward to case studies coming from EURAXESS collegues from different countries: e.g. Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands.
